Delays: A1(M) and A64 after crash and broken-down vehicle

Both the A1(M), close to York, and the A64 are both experiencing delays this afternoon (December 9) after a crash and a broken-down vehicle have closed lanes on both roads.

The crash took place on the A1(M) at around 3.30pm between the M1 Aberford Bypass and junction 44 of the A64 for York and Tadcaster.

Closer to York, the broken down vehicle was reported at 3.54pm and is affecting travel on the A64 Eastbound towards York between Copmanthorpe and Tadcaster Road.

Both incidents will impact travel to York from Leeds in the A64.
