Delays: A1(M) at junction with the A64 after crash

One lane of the A1(M) in North Yorkshire is closed and queues are beginning to mount at junction 44, the A64 turn off for York and Tadcaster, after a crash.

It was first reported at 10.36am today (December 18)  and is located just after the construction between J44 A64 (York / Tadcaster) and J43 (M1 interchange).

Queues are reported to be ‘severe’ and increasing with the AA warning drivers to ‘expect delays’.
