DMH Electrical and Renewables to give to charity in sale

DMH Electrical and Renewables, based at Morton Park, will support the Great North Air Ambulance and the TeamLuke Foundation through a split charity donation for every contract signed on specific products.

“We wanted to support two local charities that make a difference in our community.

“The Great North Air Ambulance does incredible work across the region and we want to play our small part in supporting the charity.

“The TeamLuke Foundation is a charity that supports research and raising awareness around neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer.

“During the festive period I think it is important to reflect and remember that people do go through challenging times at this time of year and we just want to do our bit to support these great causes.”

The firm has pledged to donate £100 to the charities in a split donation for contracts signed on specific products from November 28 to December 31.

The TeamLuke Foundation was set up in memory of Luke Bell, who died of neuroblastoma on December 23, 2018.

Mark Bell, chairman of the foundation, said: “We are blown away by this kind gesture.

“Our mission is to raise awareness, develop resources and support groundbreaking research into the condition.

“Ultimately, it is about supporting others who experience the condition.”

The Great North Air Ambulance also welcomed the support.

Araminta Hartley, from the charity, said: “We are delighted to be chosen as one of the charities to receive a £50 donation for every contract signed on certain products in December.

“The money we receive from DMH Electrical and Renewables will help our team continue to provide life-saving care to those in need across the region.”

DMH Electrical and Renewables specialises in the installation of solar panels, battery storage, heat pumps and electrical vehicle charging.
