The product recall was issued for the B&Q GoodHome Saturnia Electric Blanket after a potential safety issue was identified.

Electric blanket from B&Q recalled due to fire risk
The B&Q GoodHome Saturnia Electric Blanket has been recalled as it presents a fire risk caused by an electrical component that can overheat.
A recall notice from the Office for Product Safety & Standards added: “This could result in the product or the surrounding furniture overheating and catching fire.
“If the controller overheats and melts, it is possible that live parts may become exposed, which could lead to the user receiving an electric shock.
“The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.”
The electric blanket was sold between November 2024 and December 2025, and has the barcode number 5059340980560.
