Emergency services called to Radcliffe concern for welfare
Emergency services attended the scene after being called at around 4.30am to a concern for welfare.
Two fire engines from Bury and Whitefield station, alongside the technical rescue unit from Ashton were deployed to assist police.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police (GMP) confirmed that the incident was a concern for welfare and had been “safely resolved”.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “Just after 4.30am on Saturday 20 December, two fire engines from Bury and Whitefield stations, as well as the technical rescue unit from Ashton, were called to assist police with a rescue of person incident on Ainsworth Road in Radcliffe.”
