Emmerdale fans ‘complaining to Ofcom’ as soap airs darkest EVER torture scenes
EMMERDALE villain Celia Daniels has pulled back the curtain and shown her true colours tonight in horrifying scenes that have left fans wanting to complain to Ofcom.
Viewers know the gangster is the orchestrator of one of the darkest goings on in the village’s history, but tonight it got even worse.
So far she has enslaved a number of vulnerable people, groomed April Windsor into both drug dealing and being sold for sex, and buried a body to frame Moira Dingle after letting one of the enslaved people die on her watch.
But in tonight’s episode as April finally opened up to dad Marlon and stepmum Rhona about everything she’d been through, it seemed the end was near.
However Celia had other ideas.
Having failed to sell April to another gang across the country, she decided to terrorise her family instead.
Arriving at their cottage, Celia warned Marlon and Rhona that they needed to stay very quiet otherwise she would not only expose April as a killer but also harm the rest of their family.
And to drive the point home, she then set up a video call from Ray’s dashboard.
In the distance April’s boyfriend Dylan could be seen opening a gate for Ray.
Ray promptly floored the accelerator and ran over Dylan, leaving him for dead, and the family utterly horrified about what had happened.
Even when Rhona tried to face Celia down, she ended up clawed in the face, bleeding as Celia made it clear she would be keeping April working for her.
And while he was on the floor Ray then injected him with drugs to ensure he died – but he failed.
Dylan was left in a coma after being run over and Marlon, Rhona and April trapped under Celia’s control.
It has however stopped him from revealing to Paddy that Bear is trapped with Celia.
But will the Dingles band together to deal with Celia and Ray or is their reign of terror going to continue for a long time to come?
Fans have been left threatening to complain to Ofcom about the dark scenes.
The storyline has already attracted hundreds of complaints about its dark nature.
