Emmerdale star Eden Taylor-Draper and her boyfriend have been spending some quality time together on holiday
Emmerdale star Eden Taylor-Draper has delighted fans as she shared several loved-up holiday snaps with her rarely seen boyfriend. The 28-year-old actress is best known for playing Belle Dingle in the ITV soap, a role she took over from Emily Mather in 2005.
Belle has been involved in several memorable storylines over the years, including when she fell down a mineshaft, killed her best friend Gemma Andrews (Tendai Rinomhota), had an affair with doctor Jermaine Bailey (Micah Balfour), faked a pregnancy, and was diagnosed with schizophrenia.
The beloved character was also in a relationship with serial killer Lachlan White (Thomas Atkinson), and was at the centre of a high-profile storyline in 2024, which saw her being coercively controlled and abused by her evil husband Tom King (James Chase).
Away from the Dales, actress Eden has been in a relationship with her boyfriend Ed Lewis since 2016. It’s believed the pair first met at Harrogate Grammar School in North Yorkshire.
The young couple share a keen love of travel, and often share photos from various locations around the world on Instagram, including a festive trip to the Christmas markets of Vienna in Austria.
Now, Eden and Ed have enjoyed a trip to Australia and Vietnam, with the soap star sharing several photographs of their trip on Instagram on Tuesday (January 13).
Alongside several themed emojis – including a koala, a beach and the native flags of Australia and Vietnam – Eden posted a photo of the couple on top of a mountain, with a stunning countryside view behind them. The post also featured snaps of the pair on a jet ski and at the beach, as well as photos of the sunset and the jungle.
Several of Eden’s Emmerdale co-stars shared their support in the comments section, with Victoria Sugden actress Isabel Hodgins writing: “Just the absolute best,” alongside a heart emoji.
Laura Norton, who plays Kerry Pollard on the ITV soap, added: “Gorgeous babe.” Someone else shared: “Love these and love you.”
Another friend echoed the sentiment, saying: “Fab photos Eden – looks like you and Ed have had a fab time!” with another similarly sharing: “The best! What a trip.”
Last month, Eden’s character Belle organised a secret wedding for Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) and Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant), which they disguised as a gender reveal party.
However, their plans were derailed when the young couple were beat to the altar by Jacob’s grandad Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) and Kerry. Soap fans will know that the only reason Pollard has made Kerry his bride is to siphon cash for Jacob’s future to her, though the rest of the village remain oblivious to this detail.
Despite the various challenges, Sarah and Jacob eventually made it down the aisle a few days later in a sweet ceremony at the Woolpack.
It’s been a busy few months for wedding planner Belle as she also organised the wedding of Coronation Street’s Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) and Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan), which occurred shortly before the Corriedale crash last week.
