Fans Think Zayn Malik Just Threw Shade At Harry Styles' Ticket Prices

Zayn Malik fans think the singer was throwing some shade in the direction of his former bandmate Harry Styles during a recent gig in Las Vegas.

Earlier this month, the former One Direction star kicked off a short residency in Vegas, performing his fifth show on Wednesday night.

During the set, Zayn asked the fans in the auditorium: “Who’s from Vegas? Who’s from elsewhere?”

He then continued: “I just want to say a big, big thank you for being here with me tonight. Hopefully the ticket prices weren’t too high…”

This has been widely interpreted on social media to be a dig at Harry, who recently made headlines thanks to the ticket prices for his upcoming world tour, the most expensive of which are reported to cost as much as £466 for his run of shows at Wembley Stadium.

Confounding this speculation even further is the fact that Zayn followed his comment with: “Just saying. Anyway…”

Interestingly, Zayn’s comments came just days after another comment from a former 1D member that many interpreted as a dig at Harry.

Last week, Louis Tomlinson released his third studio album How Did I Get Here? on the same day that Harry unveiled his comeback single Aperture.

“Going to need your help over the next few days to cut through the noise,” Louis told his fans in an X post, in what many took as a pop at the Grammy winner. “Time to give this record the moment it deserves!”

How Did I Get Here? is currently on track to give Louis his second solo number one album, while Harry’s Aperture is also on course to top the UK singles chart.

Aperture is the lead single from Harry’s fourth album Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally; with his accompanying tour set to include a record-breaking 12 nights at London’s Wembley Stadium and a whopping 30 dates at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
