Farmer Ed’s Enchanted Light Trail launches at Piglets Farm
Launching for the first time at Piglets Adventure Farm near York, Farmer Ed’s Enchanted Light Trail will run on selected evenings from November 21 to December 23, inviting families, couples, and dog lovers to explore a countryside wonderland.
The immersive experience promises glowing farm scenes, illuminated woodland creatures, glittering tunnels, and enchanting storytelling.
Farmer Ed, creator of the experience, said: “We wanted to create something truly magical for families in York.
“The Enchanted Light Trail is all about wonder and for those who want a chance to slow down, explore, and share unforgettable moments together in a place that feels full of warmth and festive joy.”
Designed with younger visitors in mind, the trail weaves through the farm with enchanting displays and soundscapes, bringing festive tales to life.

Guests can also enjoy the Alpine Village, a cosy festive hub offering street food from local vendors including Bisto Guy’s bratwurst, Yuzu’s bao buns, and Millers Fish and Chips.
The Alpine Bar will serve Brew York beer, mulled wine, and hot chocolate.
The event is dog-friendly, making it an inclusive night out for the whole family.
Visitors can meet farm characters, toast marshmallows over outdoor fire pits, and capture memories at cosy photo spots.
Piglets Adventure Farm is located at Towthorpe Grange in York.
