Fire crews called after van catches fire in the M62
A North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Selby, plus neighbouring brigades in Pontefract and Snaith, were called to the M62 at 11.28am today (December 17) after reports of a van on fire.
“The cause was believed to be an engine fault, this incident was left with highways whilst the owner awaited recovery,” said a spokesperson for the force.
One hose reel jet, breathing apparatus, and foam were used to extinguish the fire.
