Five plans decided by Darlington Borough Council this week
These include updates to public infrastructure and changes to commercial and agricultural sites.

Application for BT Street Hub approved
An application to replace an existing BT kiosk with a new BT Street Hub has been approved.
The new structure will be located outside 26 Bondgate and will feature LCD advert screens.
Permission was granted with conditions on December 2.
Self-storage container site in Garden Street refused
Plans to convert a former wagon storage area on Garden Street into a self-storage facility have been refused.
The proposal would have introduced 60 storage containers and included boundary works and an electric entrance gate.
The council rejected the application on December 5.
Kenmore Plastics extension approved
Kenmore Plastics has received permission to extend its existing facility on Senhouse Road.
The project includes building extensions to the south and west elevations, additional parking, new yard areas, and associated landscaping.
The application was approved with conditions on December 3.
Bracks Farm permitted to extend storage building
Prior approval was not required for an extension to an agricultural storage building at Bracks Farm in Heighington.
The decision was issued on December 3.
Amendments approved for Amazon drone compound
Non-material amendments to a previously approved drone launch and landing facility at the Amazon Distribution Centre in Morton Park were approved on December 3.
The facility includes a fenced compound with drone pads, an office area, storage, a weather station, and a fenced airlock.
The approved amendment relates to changes within the compound as detailed in revised plans.
