The Loganair flight from Aberdeen International Airport to Dublin was cancelled after a tyre blew out on the aircraft, with passengers safely disembarked
Travellers at Aberdeen International Airport faced disruption to their journeys after a tyre burst on an aircraft scheduled to depart for Dublin.
The Loganair service on Friday was grounded and fire crews were called as a precautionary measure.
Passengers were removed from the plane and escorted back to the terminal building.

A Loganair spokesperson said: “We can confirm our flight from Aberdeen to Dublin experienced a technical problem on departure.
“As a precaution, the passengers were disembarked safely and returned to the terminal, where they were taken into the care of our ground teams.”, reports the Irish Mirror.
“The aircraft will now be taken to our hangar for further inspection.
“Safety is always our primary concern, and we thank the crew and the airport for their assistance.”
An Aberdeen International Airport spokesperson confirmed that two flights were redirected following the incident with the Loganair plane, but normal operations have now resumed.
