The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service announced that they have attended a barn on fire incident in the Moneyreagh area
NIFRS personnel have attended an incident where a barn was on fire in the Moneyreagh Road area of Moneyreagh, Co Down tonight (Saturday).
Four appliances from Carryduff, Knock and Comber were in attendance alongside a water tanker from Warrenpoint.
The announcement came earlier this evening with a spokesperson commenting that the incident was expected to continue “for a number of hours.”

Local residents are requested to avoid the area and keep windows and doors closed.
