An urgent search has been launched in effort to trace a Scots man who vanished two days ago.
Robert Allan, 30, was last seen in Dundee city centre at around 4.40pm on Monday, January, 19, but is believed to have since travelled to Perth by train.
Police describe Robert as white, around 5ft 6, slim build, with short dark hair, stubble and scarring on the back of his head. He was wearing a khaki-coloured jacket, khaki-coloured top, blue jeans and Adidas trainers when he was last seen.
Robert’s family and friends and concerned for his welfare and cops have urged anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward.
Inspector Gordon Jamieson said: “Robert has been missing for a number of days now, which is completely out of character, and understandably his family and friends are worried about his welfare.
“Extensive enquiries to trace him are ongoing and we ask anyone with any information on his whereabouts to contact police as soon as possible, by calling 101 and quoting incident 3499 of 20 January, 2026.”
