Free Christmas carol event this weekend at Bolton Library

Think Cre8tive’s Singing for Health group will be at Bolton Library performing Christmas carols from 2pm.

Think Cre8tive Group CIC is a social enterprise using music to improve health, happiness and social connection.

They run a Singing Club, Care Home Choir (with dementia-friendly sessions), Sing It Out! Mama, and a U-Can-Play! Ukulele club.

The organisation aspires to deliver high-quality and inclusive singing experiences to improve mental health and emotional wellbeing, reduce social isolation, build stronger communities, and support the NHS and social care through preventative programmes.

“We are a female-led group of practitioners with over 50 years of experience in healthcare, education, music, movement, drama, dance, and art,” said the community interest company.

“We believe that creativity is at the heart of life and is fundamental to our mental and physical health.

“Our aim is to ensure everyone has access to be creative regardless of where they are in their life.”
