A GMB star hinted at his exit from the show after getting involved with regular heated debates.
Andrew Pierce has suggested he may be departing from his position on Good Morning Britain.
The 64-year-old GB News host frequently features on the ITV show alongside Kevin Maguire, tackling topics ranging from daily news stories to political discussions.
He appeared with Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid on Tuesday’s (December 10) edition of GMB, which continued celebrating the programme’s “1 Million Minutes” initiative, urging audiences to commit time towards combating loneliness.
When Susanna enquired whether the pair engage with people whilst out in public, Andrew jested that members of the public often “shout at him” regarding Kevin.
Andrew remarked: “They all say, ‘Is he as bad in real life as he is on the show?’ I say, ‘Yes, he is actually’,” reports the Express.

Susanna, who celebrates her 55th birthday today, mentioned she presumes people wonder if they’re genuinely friends behind-the-scenes despite their frequent on-air clashes.
Both concurred as Kevin noted: “You can disagree without being disagreeable all the time. Other people ask why I don’t hit him or how I put up with him.”
Susanna replied: “Why do you always have to bring the tone down?”
“Susanna, I just have to be honest!” Kevin fired back.
The astonished host replied: “People do not ask you, ‘Do you not feel like hitting him?’”
Kevin, 65, maintained his position whilst Andrew observed: “Charming, isn’t it?”
This prompted Richard to enquire about the duration of their partnership on the programme, with Kevin disclosing it had been approximately eight to 10 years.
“Since the beginning,” Susanna observed.
However, Andrew then hinted that either he, or perhaps both of them, might be departing, commenting: “Not for much longer, sadly.”
Andrew’s remark seemed to go unnoticed as Kevin began reminiscing about the early days of his collaboration with Andrew.
He remembered: “We got paired, Susanna, on BBC Breakfast when you were on with Bill Turnbull.”
Andrew quipped: “And then you moved to Salford so we stopped doing it because it was too far to go.”
Susanna presented BBC Breakfast alongside the late Bill, who passed away aged 66 in 2022, from 2012 to 2014 before departing the corporation to join Good Morning Britain.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV1 and ITVX.
