Kelly Brook is one of the famous faces taking part in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and the model and presenter is celebrating her birthday in the jungle
Model Kelly Brook has celebrated another birthday but this time in the jungle.
The Heart radio presenter is among the well-known personalities competing on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
She started her modelling journey at just 16 years old and rose to prominence featuring in men’s magazines including GQ, FHM and Daily Star’s Page Three.
Kelly claimed the top spot on FHM’s Sexiest Women in the World list in 2005 and subsequently ventured into acting whilst regularly appearing as a panellist on Loose Women.
Before entering the jungle, Kelly made an emotional appeal to I’m A Celebrity audiences, reports the Daily Star.

Speaking to the Mirror, Kelly revealed: “Obviously, I am not a 20-year-old bikini model anymore. You know, life changes and your body changes.
“And I just hope people are accepting of me and how I look now, and not comparing me to how I used to look. You know, I am a very different person. I am older, but I am still strong and I am still fit, and that is the most important thing.”
Many admirers might be unaware that Kelly’s birth name is Kelly Anne Parsons, though she adopted Brook as her professional surname when launching her modelling career.
Jeany Savage, a celebrated Page 3 photographer who captured Kelly’s debut shots at age 16, convinced her to make the name change.
The photographer previously revealed in 2001: “I persuaded her to change her name from Parsons, which sounded so awful, to Brook.”
Kelly explained: “My real name is Kelly Parsons and they used to call me Smelly Parsnips because it rhymes.
“Kelly Brook doesn’t actually exist, it’s not even a real name, it’s never even been on my passport or anything. In my mind, I’m Mrs Parisi, Jeremy Parisi’s wife.”
Born in Rochester, Kent, to Sandra Kelly, a cook, and Kenneth Parsons, a scaffolder, on 23 November 1979, Kelly is currently 46 years old.
She has a younger brother named Damian and an older half-sister, Sasha. Tragically, Kelly’s father Kenneth passed away at the age of 57 from lung cancer.
Before entering the jungle, Kelly confidently stated: “I feel really confident. I feel like my body is in good shape. I just feel great.
“I am 46, I embrace my curves. I embrace my body. I ran a marathon this year….so I am proud of that.”
