Ian Wright walks out as Roy Keane goes on hilarious golf rant moments before Rory McIlroy comes on set
IAN WRIGHT walked out on Roy Keane after the Manchester United legend went on a hilarious rant about GOLF.
The former Arsenal man couldn’t believe what he was hearing from his pundit pal as they waiting for Rory McIlroy to join them on set.
Jamie Carragher, Gary Neville and Jill Scott were alongside the duo as they exchanged pleasantries before the conversation switched to golf and that is where things took a quick turn.
Former United skipper Keane declared that golf “looks easy” before going into a explanation over the top players getting cheered for putting the ball in from short distances.
Wright – an avid golfer – warned his colleague he wasn’t going to get into it, but Keane kept going and pushed the 62-year-old to a point that he had to LEAVE The set.
Keane speaking on The Overlap Fan, brought to you by Sky Bet, started off the debate by declaring: “I don’t play golf but it looks easy. I have to say. You just get it in the hole.”
Wright: “I am not going into this..”
Keane: “The best players in the world. The hole is there and I am here.
“I am one of the best in the world and I get it in the hole and everybody applauds it.
“You are just putting it in the hole. I am 100 per cent serious.

It was at this point that Wright then stormed off the set.
Conversation around the table continued and then a minute later Wright returns with a smile on his face after colling off.
Moments later Rory McIlroy joins the table and the room erupts in laughter he shares a handshake and hug with Keane and says “Nice to see you, good to see you!”
He added: “I am very ready for Roy. Very ready.”
