So while we’re all eager to find out who’s getting booted off, we’ve cut back to camp for some letter-reading.

“It was like this huge wave of love soaked into everybody,” Martin says, after watching everyone burst into tears after hearing their correspondences. Sans Jack, of course.

So it’s dinner time, and Ruby is itching for the food that’s being prepared for the camp.

“We have one very impatient customer,” Eddie says.

“Ruby?” Shona guesses, correctly.

“A hungry mouth is a rude mouth,” Eddie adds.

Ruby is walking a fine line at the minute, it seems.

Jack is the only campmate whose letter has been shredded so far, with Eddie, Vogue and Martin unable to correctly guess how old Jack was at the very start of his reality show The Osbournes.

“It’s all good,” Jack says upon the trio’s return to camp.

“In this experience, you kind of have to hang up emotion,” Jack explains. “Just suck it up and ride it.”

So this is a bit of a snooze. Aitch, Kelly and Ruby are tasked with rescuing letters from home from being shredded in blenders.

To rescue the letters, the trio need to answer questions like: “How many likes does AngryGinge have on TikTok?”

I’m not sure if the men in camp have a humour bypass or if Ruby’s very dry wit is just going over their heads, but Aitch and Ginge are furious about Ruby as camp leader. “We are making a stand versus them”, Ginge says.

Aitch agreed: “I’ve got a lot of things on my chest that need to come off.”

Jack said: “Viva la revolution!”

They’ve also seemingly grabbed Martin and Vogue now too, and confront Lisa to demand they ditch the “welcome dances” and asking to abandon the chore procedure.

Vogue and Kelly aren’t so sure about that one.

This feels… how do I put this? Manufactured? It’s giving “producers asking blokes to kick off”.

Lisa admits that she’s “concerned” about Ruby’s tyrannical tirade. But also this seems all a little silly, right?

And after a vote, Ruby is now the new camp leader.

People are a little worried.

“Yes it will go to her head!” joked Vogue.

“She just turned into a power-mad person!” Kelly gasps.

“Ruby as leader, pure insanity,” Jack adds. “The craziest dictatorship I think the world will ever know.”

With that, Ruby declares that “things are about to change — no more Mrs Nice Guy!” . She then demanded that Shona be her footstool, Aitch her entertainer and Ginge her dancer.

So… let’s talk Shona! She’s strolled back into camp to announce that she’s been caught on camera cooking with contraband in the form of butter!

Shona says she found the butter in a food trunk, and the campers suggest that it may have been eliminated Alex who was responsible.

Anyway, Shona also announces that she’s stepped down, less than 24 hours into her reign, from her role as camp leader.

I’m not particularly well-versed in I’m a Celebrity (can you tell? I wonder if you can tell), but surely Lisa’s Mine of Misery ranks up there among the grimmest of this show.

After dealing with spiders, on top of worms, rats and guts, Lisa managed to grab eight diamonds of a possible 11.

Returning to camp, she was met by cheers.
