I'm A Celebrity 2025 stars face gruelling tasks before entering camp

Slime, snakes and offal await the I’m A Celebrity contestants

The contestants for the 2025 edition of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! will be confronted with slime, snakes and offal as they make their way into camp during the series’ opening episode.

The reality TV programme, presented by Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, which features a group of celebrities undertaking challenges to earn food whilst residing in an Australian jungle camp, is set to return to ITV1 on Sunday evening.

This year’s line-up includes reality TV personality Jack Osbourne, comedian Ruby Wax, Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp, model Kelly Brook and Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley.

Rounding out the cast are rapper Aitch, comedian Eddie Kadi, EastEnders star Shona McGarty, sports presenter Alex Scott and social media sensation Morgan Burtwistle, better known as Angryginge.

The programme will feature Aitch, whose real name is Harrison Armstrong, along with Kadi, McGarty, Brook and Kemp skydiving from a helicopter onto a beach.

These five celebrities will then have to trudge through offal and slime to locate a key fob that will grant them access to a getaway car transporting them to camp.

Those lucky enough to secure a spot in the getaway car will enter the jungle with cocktails, canapes and steak at their disposal, while the remaining celebrities will share their journey with some unwelcome critters.

The other five campmates, Wax, Riley, Osbourne, Scott and Burtwistle, will initially arrive at a luxury villa before competing for a place in the coveted getaway car.

The celebrities will be tasked with placing their hands in a box of green ants to unscrew bolts and release the car fob, while also having their heads encased in boxes teeming with snakes.

Osbourne, who recently marked his 40th birthday, confessed he is “not a big bug person” and feels “very nervous” about the show.

The television presenter, still grieving the loss of his father, heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne, shared that his mother Sharon and sister Kelly are fully behind him.

He added: “Mum and Kelly, yeah they are absolutely going to be watching. They are supportive.”

Brook, aged 45, who previously vowed never to participate in the show, admitted she is “really petrified of heights”.

She said: “I’m such a fan of the show that I thought, ‘Maybe I could do it, maybe I could cope.’ I won’t know unless I try and so I am going to throw myself into it.”

Pop icon Kemp, 64, revealed his son, radio presenter Roman, who ventured into the jungle in 2019, offered him some advice for his time on the show.

He said: “He told me to go in and enjoy it all. He said it’s the most fun he has ever had and he said, ‘I am really jealous; I know how much fun you are going to have.’”.

Meanwhile, former Lioness Scott, 41, shared that her girlfriend, pop star Jess Glynne, believes she is “absolutely mental” for joining the show.

She said: “She will be my biggest supporter, and my mum absolutely loves the show. Thinking of her tuning in every night will bring a tear.”

The previous year’s show was clinched by McFly’s singer and guitarist, Danny Jones.
