I’m A Celebrity viewers claimed to have heard Tom Read Wilson’s ‘real voice’ after the star did an impression of Aitch’s Manchester accent
I’m A Celebrity’s Tom Read Wilson has sparked a huge reaction from viewers who claim that his true voice has been “exposed”.
The Celebs Go Dating personality entered the jungle alongside Vogue Williams as a late arrival and immediately caught attention due to his theatrical manner of speaking.
His delivery was so polished that both fellow campmates and those watching at home began questioning whether it was genuine – and it appears fans believe they’ve now got their answer.
During Friday night’s (November 22) instalment of the ITV programme, Ruby Wax kicked off the morning by performing camp songs whilst everyone gathered round the fire, reports the Express.
Aitch couldn’t resist turning to campmate Tom to discuss his distinctive manner of speaking, remarking: “Everything you say sounds so expensive”

Emmerdale star Lisa Riley joined in as they encouraged Tom to repeat various phrases. Aitch mimed along to Tom’s refined tones, with a surprised Tom commenting: “It even fooled me and I was speaking!”.
Aitch subsequently challenged Tom to deliver ‘pepperoni pizza, jalapeños and two curry sauce’ using his Manchester dialect.
Tom then mimicked Aitch’s accent. The star lowered his voice to produce an remarkably accurate impression, which left the entire camp in hysterics and sent Aitch racing around laughing.
Those tuning in from home were quick to share their thoughts on social media, claiming that Tom’s impression was in fact his genuine voice. One person posted on X, previously Twitter: “Finally, we hear Tom’s real voice! #ImACeleb.”
Another wrote: “Tom’s real voice exposed #ImACeleb.” A third remarked: “Tom doing an impression of Aitch is definitely his real voice #ImACeleb.”
Another added: “Tom could change his voice so fast crazy skill #ImaCeleb.” One observed: “After hearing Tom imitate Aitch that fake posh voice is starting to sound ridiculous #ImACeleb @imacelebrity.”
Meanwhile, one supporter said: “I feel like Tom ACTUALLY speaks like that and this posh voice is all for show.”
Later in the programme, Tom participated in the Bushtucker trial with Alex Scott, Shona McGarty and Vogue Williams.
Vogue and Tom were required to lie in two separate tents, each containing six stars secured by padlocks. Meanwhile, Alex and Shona had to hunt for the keys to release the padlocks in a pool filled with offal and fish guts.
Following the nerve-wracking challenge, they secured all twelve stars and were thrilled as they returned to inform their fellow campmates.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here airs every night from 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
