Hailing from Moston, North Manchester, Aitch has quickly become familiar with success within his industry, including winning a Brit Award for Best Hip-Hop/Grime act in 2023 and two Mobo Awards in 2022 – Best Song for hit track Baby with Ashanti in 2022 and Best Album for Close To Home.

Aitch has a close bond with his two twin sisters, Gracie and Hattie, who are ten years younger than him. Gracie has Down Syndrome, which is something that Aitch has spoken about publicly.

He recently climbed Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for charity the Down’s Syndrome Association (DSA), which he said has taught him to “never be ungrateful”.

During Saturday’s (November 29) installment, Aitch opened up about Gracie while chatting with his campmates.

Recalling Ellie Goldstein from Strictly Come Dancing who also has Down Syndrome, he said: “There’s a girl called Ellie, she loved it. When she came on the screen, Gracie was like, ‘oh she’s one of God’s special children like me.’

“She’s the GOAT (greatest of all time) honestly. There’s not one person that’s ever met her that’s said a bad word.”

He added: “It’s not about how you handle it, it’s more about how you view it. They’re the best people in the world… She is the sickest person I’ve ever met.

“There’s times where obviously it’s tougher than raising the average kid, but all the other things outweigh that. I’ve heard certain stories over the years about how kids with Down Syndrome get treated and it just makes me feel sick.”
