Two stars were eliminated from I’m A Celebrity on Friday night, just days before Sunday’s final

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! presenters Ant and Dec announced that not one, but two celebrities would be departing the jungle straight away.

In Friday’s (December 5) instalment, the hosting pair joined the famous faces live in camp and confirmed that Lisa Riley and Jack Osbourne had been compelled to exit the Australian jungle, mere days ahead of Sunday night’s (December 7) finale.

The television star and Emmerdale actress saw their jungle journey come to an end after getting low votes from home viewers. Before their departure, both received an outpouring of encouragement from their fellow campmates, who appeared stunned and saddened by the double elimination.

Following their farewells, the pair, who both endured 21 days in the wilderness, made their way to chat with Ant and Dec about their Australian adventure, reports the Express.

In the departure interview, Jack spoke first, confessing: “I enjoyed connecting with people. I said before coming out here that I don’t have a lot of people in England, so it is nice to come away with 11 new friends.”

Addressing his ‘disagreement’ with Kelly Brook regarding camp cuisine, Jack explained: “I was just worried about whether stuff would actually get cooked; it’s hard to cook on an open fire.

“On day one, I was like ‘who can cook here?’ and no one raised their hands. I was just worried we were going to all die of some strange jungle-born rare meat disease.”

Lisa, meanwhile, described the programme as her “basket of bliss, every single second of it”. She went on to say: “I’m not been lucky to be a mother in real life, so if I was considered the jungle mum, I feel like I’ve won already.”

Earlier in the programme, emotions ran incredibly high as the famous faces were reunited with their loved ones in a deeply touching segment.

Aitch became visibly emotional when his two sisters, Gracie and Hattie, arrived to see him. The 25-year-old rapper’s face lit up instantly as he rushed over to embrace and kiss both siblings.

As they settled down for a proper catch-up, Gracie exclaimed: “We’ve missed you so much!” Aitch then showed them around the campsite, with Hattie cheekily remarking: “You don’t smell the best, I’m not gonna lie! When I got that hug, I got a whiff, but that’s just the jungle scent.”

With both sisters by his side in The Bush Telegraph, Gracie expressed her amazement: “It’s unbelievable,” whilst Hattie declared: “We’re unbelievably proud of you.”

Elsewhere, it was Ginge’s turn to be reunited with his mum, Michelle, and sister, Tasha, as he immediately became tearful and embraced them both. His mum praised him, saying: “You’ve done absolutely amazing on those trials”, while his sister chimed in with: “You’re funny to watch!” Ginge then posed the crucial question- “Football scores?”

His mum confessed her ignorance, exclaiming: “You’re asking me?!” His sister giggled and added, “I didn’t even think to look!” He responded by burying his face in his hands and lamenting, “You’re killing me!”

They then bid each other farewell, with him expressing his love for them both before heading back to camp.
