Inside 500ft invite-only Mercedes Maybach Ocean Club superyacht with 30 balcony suites, infinity pool & posh beach club
MERCEDES is preparing to launch a giant floating private member’s club on the sea.
The ritzy invite-only experience is called Maybach Ocean Club – on board a massive superyacht named Beyond Horizons.
Mercedes-Maybach – which is part of Mercedes-Benz – says the boat “defines what luxury at sea means today”.
And that luxury includes dozens of balcony suites, vast sun decks, and even a private beach club.
The Maybach Ocean Club is meant to be highly exclusive, with just a few hundred people allowed to join.
“The Maybach Ocean Club is an exclusive private members’ club centered around a superyacht,” Mercedes said.
“Membership grants access not only to the yacht itself but to a curated community of like-minded individuals who gather at sea for leisure, networking, and cultural exchange.”
And Mercedes says that it functions as both a retreat and social hub.
The yacht will measure just north of 500 feet, with a 15,000+ gross tonnage.
And it’ll pack in 30 identical suites, each of which has its own private balcony.
Typically superyachts have different tiers of suites, but Mercedes is hoping to provide all guests with an equal experience.
But it’ll be very difficult to get a spot on the boat – which uses clean fuel propulsion – due to Mercedes rules.
Membership is on an invitation-only basis, with just 300 so-called “co-owners” expected to join the scheme.
It works like a timeshare where members are able to access the yacht for several weeks each year.
And there’ll be shared spaces that all of the guests can enjoy together.
This systems means that you can enjoy a yacht for part of the year without having to cover full maintenance costs, which would normally be exorbitant for a vessel of this size.
“‘Beyond Horizons’ is among the largest of its kind,” Mercedes said.
“Its decks are layered like landscapes, opening to sea and sky, offering both generous expanse and intimacy for true relaxation.”
The boat has 48,000 square feet of deck space.
And that includes a beach club, lounges with panoramic views, and an infinity pool for guests to use.

Plans could see the yacht launch as soon as 2029 once contracts are decided.
Early concept images reveal how the final superyacht will have a super-luxe interior and a very posh exterior too.
“The eye-catching appearance of the Maybach superyacht will blend traditional craftsmanship and sophisticated technology to set new standards of precision and quality,” Mercedes boasted.
“The vessel’s tailor-made interior and exterior ensures a one-of-a-kind appearance.
“The materials and colour scheme have been directly inspired by the Mercedes‑Maybach brand aesthetic.”
