Inside Katie Price’s whirlwind wedding to Lee Andrews as she reveals how she met him a WEEK ago
KATIE Price tied the knot with Lee Andrews today, after only meeting him a week ago.
News of the engagement took social media by storm, as the couple shared snaps of the rose-petal-abundant proposal and a gigantic rock on Katie’s finger via Instagram.
The shock engagement news came only a matter of weeks after Katie and former partner JJ Slater called time on their two year romance.
But it turns out Katie has only known her now-husband for a week, and she even bought his wedding ring before meeting him in person.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Katie said: “How I met Lee was esoteric. We connected both checking each others socials and quickly realised ‘wow this is for me’.
“In the old fashioned way first by words, which captured us both and that evolved deeper as we connected further.
“Within days we had matching tattoos and then both decided to buy rings for the other – all this without even meeting.
“We let fate – or you could say destiny – decide.
“I’m just so happy with my person that is just as happy as me.
“What we have they haven’t even invented the words.
“He now has the best version of me which can only grow more knowing we are each others.
“On the wedding all I can say is it was fatale – and this was a wedding at first sight.”
WEDDING BELLS
Katie and Lee met in Dubai to tie the knot – where her self-proclaimed multimillionaire beau lives and works as a businessman.
They said “I do” in a quiet ceremony, leaving Katie’s family feeling absolutely “dumbstruck” as they weren’t aware that the wedding was even happening.
The wedding came two days after a lavish proposal in Dubai – where Katie was showered with affectionate gestures including her name spelled out in rose petals on the floor.
Scrawling out, “Will you marry me Katie?,” surrounded by tea lights, the star entered the room wearing a white gown-esque robe before saying “Yes”.
Lee then posted a video of Katie after the grand gesture and encouraged her to show off her engagement ring to her massive online following.
“So Katie, here we are,” Lee begins while giggling.
“Have you got anything to show the crowd, Katie?”
She then flaunts the beautiful diamond for the camera, waving her hand in the air as she says: “That’s as big as my head.”
“Let’s see how sparkly that is, oh fudge that is like 25 carats,” Lee adds.
The newlyweds already have one another’s names tattooed on the backs of their hands alongside the numbers 11:11.
CALLING IT QUITS
Katie and JJ Slater first met shortly after JJ wrapped up filming for Married At First Sight UK in 2024.
She reportedly slid into his DMs and the pair struck up a conversation, which eventually led to them dating.
Before the former flames officially announced that they split a couple of weeks ago, there had been months of speculation that they had broken up.
Fans noticed that they didn’t post much about one another on social media, and Katie failed to include JJ when discussing her Christmas plans with family online.
Since the split JJ appears to be going all in focusing on his fitness, though he was absolutely “blindsided” by Katie’s out-of-the-blue engagement news.
After learning about Lee, JJ unfollowed Katie on Instagram, though at the time she was still following his profile.
