I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star Angry Ginge was left in pain after he banged his head during a gruesome Bushtucker Trial on Sunday night’s show

I’m A Celebrity’s Angry Ginge suffered a painful mishap during a stomach-churning Bushtucker Trial. On Saturday evening, Ant and Dec announced that the online personality, 24, would be facing ‘Terror-flying tours’.

During Sunday’s (November 23) instalment of the ITV jungle show, fellow campmates Lisa Riley and Ruby Wax wished him well at the bridge’s edge as he set off for the challenge.

Matters then became somewhat awkward as Ruby presented Ginge with an unexpected good luck token. The actress produced some of her red underwear, describing them as: “the lucky underpants. I always wear red when I wanna, you know, pull off something”.

A puzzled Ginge responded: “You wanna give me your underwear? !” as Ruby tucked them into the front of his rucksack before waving him off.

Upon reaching the trial clearing, Ant and Dec greeted Ginge for his third Bushtucker trial of the series. Outlining the challenge ahead, Ginge needed to insert his head into a succession of head boxes, with each container transporting him to a different destination, reports Daily Star.

Once positioned, he had to retrieve the stars using solely his mouth or tongue. Initially, Ginge was transported to Egypt, as he cautiously inserted his head through the opening, being accompanied by lizards.

With two stars available, Ginge found it difficult to achieve the correct movements with his tongue or chin to free the star, resulting in him being sluggish in securing the first.

With time ticking for his second, he was close to admitting defeat and Ant joked: “If nothing else this is going to be a great meme!” Which sent Ginge in stitches, and led to the time running out.

Next up, Ginge faced snakes in the Amazon rainforest where he risked an injury as he banged his head trying to put it through the second hole.

Dec asked: “Any idea where you are now?” Glancing around at the snakes, Ginge joked: “Not Bradford?”

Ant and Dec erupted into laughter before Dec clarified: “Close, it’s the Amazon Rainforest. ” To which Ginge responded: “That was my second guess.”

As the trial concluded, calamity ensued when Ginge hit his head trying to enter another slot. He exclaimed: “Ow, my head. That’s not even part of the trial.”

Dec retorted: ‘Don’t bang your head.” Ginge replied: “Cheers.”

Nevertheless, he successfully secured 2 out of 2 stars. In subsequent boxes were toads in Miami beach where he achieved 2/2 stars, rats in London earning him 3/3 stars and finally, his old adversaries spiders, as he faced them and crocodiles in the last box representing Australia, scoring 2/3 available stars.

Having secured 10/12 stars, he returned to camp to share the news. However, Ginge playfully pretended he had only won five stars, choosing to keep his full score a secret until dinner.

Ruby couldn’t resist making a joke about her lucky pants, saying “Sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t. I’ll try them again.”
