Jaw dropping plans for the world’s biggest ski chalet dubbed ‘Superyacht on the Snow’ with F1 simulator & bowling alley
JAWDROPPING plans for the world’s biggest ski chalet have been unveiled – complete with a F1 simulator and a bowling alley.
A Swiss property tycoon with a former Miss World girlfriend has dreamt up the ultra-lux Alpine pad – which has been dubbed the “Superyacht on the Snow“.
Developer Byron Baciocchi, 36, wants to build the lavish mountain escape in Gstaad – a playground resort of the super rich in Switzerland.
Three buildings will be connected to form a sprawling, spacious complex spread across 7,000 square metres – and rented out for an eye-watering £13million a year.
Built by Mr Baciocchi’s own investment firm, Unica Capital, the shining chalet will boast 11 bedrooms – each with en suites and walk-in wardrobes – and eight bedrooms for staff.
Guests will have their every need catered for – with special features to maximise pleasure and comfort.
The plans include a vast “wellness sanctuary”, which includes dual thermal pools, a Middle Eastern-style hammam steam room, and alpine sauna, snow showers and a cold plunge.
Another wing of the complex has a private cinema, Formula 1 simulator, dance floor, bowling alley, wine cellar, cigar lounge and room to store skis.
Mr Baciocchi singled out Gstaad thanks to its appeal among billionaires.
He told The Telegraph: “Privacy, safety and year-round lifestyle continuity are now top priorities.
“As a discreet Alpine enclave with world-class skiing and consistently strong property values, it offers exactly the kind of rare, high-quality asset today’s ultra-high-net-worth individuals are seeking.”
Those lucky enough to stay in the chalet will find on their doorstep the Gstaad Mountain Rides ski pistes, Michelin-star restaurants, luxury shopping boutiques including Louis Vuitton and Prada, and even private airfields.
Baciocchi is expecting Royals and billionaires to number among those who rent the chalet.
He revealed there is a growing demand among the world’s richest for “seasonal estates” – meaning pads where the family can gather at winter.
And there is a particularly strong demand for luxury Alpine properties in the region, he said.
Building work has already begun on the site, and the final touches are expected to come in 2028.
The tycoon founded his first company – a construction and renovation firm – at the age of 21.
In 2012, he co-founded Ultima Capital with French billionaire Max-Hervé George, his childhood friend.
The company listed on the Swiss stock exchange in 2019 before Mr Baciocchi sold his stake in 2023 in a deal worth £1bn.
In his spare time, Mr Baciocchi is also a horse breeder, having founded a stud farm for Arabian horses in 2018.
His horses have won gold medals at France’s Occitanie International Show.
