Jeremy Clarkson WINS latest planning battle over his pub The Farmer’s Dog
TV’S Jeremy Clarkson has won a car park planning battle at his pub.
The Sun columnist, 65, sought approval for hard surfacing for two areas outside The Farmer’s Dog.

The go-ahead was granted last week after a year. Similar applications take about eight weeks.
Permission to park at the site near Burford, Oxon, which has 170 spaces, existed already.
Thousands have visited the pub after it featured in TV’s Clarkson’s Farm.
Backing the star, West Oxfordshire planning officer Kelly Murray said parking should be available off-road to discourage parking on the side of the A40, or on the road to nearby Asthall.

She said parking had damaged verges near Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm venture, highlighting the need to grant consent in the pub’s case.
Clarkson bought the pub — previously called The Windmill — in 2023 after offering the owner £1million for it minutes after meeting her.
The pub sits on five acres of land.
Clarkson’s Farm has recently been filming for the upcoming fifth series.
