Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant seen at Spa Hotel in Saltburn
Plant, known for his singing and lyric-writing for the heavy metal trailblazers, was snapped after a stay at the Spa Hotel in Saltburn, where he was staying over the Christmas period.
He was in the region on his tour with band ‘Saving Grace’ – which he formed in 2019 – playing a sold-out show in Middlesbrough Town Hall on the Sunday before Christmas.
Taking to social media hotel staff said: “Wow, what a privilege to have hosted rock royalty over Christmas!
“We’ve got a whole lotta love for Robert Plant.
“Such a lovely gentleman, so kind and generous to our team, and we really appreciate this festive photo. One for our Spa history books.”
Page, along with his bandmates: vocalist Suzi Dian, drummer Oli Jefferson, guitarist Tony Kelsey, banjo and string player Matt Worley, and cellist Barney Morse-Brown, released the first ‘Saving Grace’ album in September.
A Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Plant’s stardom was celebrated in comments from the public, with one branding him a ‘Rock God’.
Fi McGarry said: “Saw him in Middlesbrough on Sunday. Amazing man with such a presence on stage! Absolute Rock God!”
While Carol Sherwood said: “Saltburn is the place to be seen, we love it.”
The music legend made a lasting impression on guests who said he was down to earth and conversational.
