The Premier League has announced the latest round of TV fixture picks for February and early March for both Manchester City and Manchester United
Manchester City’s highly anticipated trip to Liverpool will be played on Sunday, February 8. The Blues’ games with their Merseyside rivals have often been seen as pivotal in the race for the Premier League title. However, a recent slump in form means Arne Slot’s side are unlikely to be in the conversation for the league title this term.
City were comfortable victors in the reverse fixture as they won 3-0 at the Etihad Stadium. The Blues’ home matches with Fulham and Newcastle, as well as their trip to Leeds have also been selected for live coverage in February.
As for Manchester United, they have been handed another unpopular fixture time with their first trip to the Hill Dickinson Stadium to take on Everton has been moved to Monday, February 23. The Reds’ midweek commitments were expected to be few and far between this season after failing to qualify for Europe and being eliminated early from the Carabao Cup.
United’s home clash with Tottenham and trip to West Ham have been selected for live TV coverage but their home game with Crystal Palace remains as a 3pm Saturday kick off. Take a look at the confirmed dates for City and United’s matches below.
