Ruth Langsford had some bad news for viewers at the end of Tuesday’s show as she revealed that the ITV programme has been pulled off air
Loose Women presenter Ruth Langsford delivered an announcement as she revealed that the show would be temporarily taken off air.
During Tuesday’s (November 25) episode of the ITV programme, Ruth was back in the presenter’s chair alongside panellists Coleen Nolan, Janet Street-Porter and Mariella Frostrup as they discussed current affairs from across the UK and beyond.
But as the broadcast come to an end, host Ruth delivered news about the programme’s upcoming schedule. The presenter disclosed that the show would be absent from Wednesday’s (November 26) television listings.
Breaking the news to both viewers at home and the live studio audience, the television personality announced: “That is it for today I am afraid. We are not on tomorrow because of the budget.”

She confirmed the programme would resume broadcasting on Thursday (November 25) at its regular 12.30pm slot, reports the Express.
This follows Ruth appearing to make a pointed remark about her former husband Eamonn Holmes during Monday’s (November 24) Loose Women.
The panel featured a discussion on ‘how involved are you in your partner’s health?’ after David Cameron’s disclosure that he had battled prostate cancer.
The 59 year old ex-Prime Minister revealed he had detected the condition following encouragement from his wife, Samantha, to undergo testing.
At the time, fellow co-star Myleene, 47, observed: “It is a known fact that men live longer when they’re married because they have wives, and women live longer when they aren’t married shall we say… you do the maths!”.
Ruth cheekily responded: “Good to know!” as she chuckled with the audience and her fellow presenters about the possibility of an extended life now that she’s single.
Last year, former This Morning hosts Ruth and Eamonn, 65, left everyone stunned when they announced they were divorcing.
Eamonn has since departed the lavish home he previously shared with Ruth and has begun a new relationship with romance expert Katie Alexander, 44.
Meanwhile, Ruth recently dismissed speculation about her entering into a romance with a ‘mystery man’.
During a recent programme, Ruth pointed towards a large photograph displayed on a screen behind her – depicting what seemed to be a woman standing in a park beside a man.
The headline above it read: “The full story of heartbreak, closure and a love that came full circle.”
Speaking to the panel about the photograph, a bewildered-looking Ruth commented: “Apparently I have a new man. According to this article, that’s all over Facebook and I’ve had friends ringing me up.
“Apparently I met this man when we were childhood sweethearts when I grew up in Belfast, which I didn’t, and now it’s come full circle after all these years and we are back together.
“Terrible, isn’t it?”. Dismissing the claims of a ‘mystery man’, Ruth clarified that the image in question was generated using artificial intelligence and she remains single.
Loose Women broadcasts weekdays from 12:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
