Lush’s iconic Snow Fairy – the limited-edition scent and product line that returns every festive season – is back once again. And this time, she’s 20!

Yes, the scent that harks us all back to childhood is now two decades old (we’ve basically grown up with her).

Unlike a lot of seasonal scent ranges that come to market, this one isn’t a cinnamon spice variety. This is sweet, with notes of bubblegum and candy floss. It’s a sweet-pink overload in the best way.

Having been a mainstay in people’s bathroom cabinets for the last two decades, the product line-up has legendary status – selling out each year.

And to mark its 20-year anniversary, the brand has added three new products to the standard Snow Fairy line-up: a pink version of Scrubbee, a Super Milk-inspired hair primer and a miniature candle.

There are now 35 products in the range overall, with the shower gel and body spray being the most signature of the lot.

An interesting bit of trivia for you is that Lush’s global retail director Claire Constantine, who is the daughter of Lush co-founders and product inventors Mark and Mo Constantine, invented the product when she was just 11 years old.

‘’Mum and dad brought home a pink shower gel with no scent. I found it in the bathroom and told them that I loved the colour but it needed to smell of cotton candy and my favourite perfume,” she said. “That product eventually became ‘Snow Fairy’. I still love it to this day!”
