The multi-million selling artist was due to appear at this year’s event but her show was cancelled due to adverse weather conditions hitting the coast.

She will appear alongside special guests Skunk Anansie.

Lytham Festival co-founder Peter Taylor said: “We are thrilled to be able to welcome Alanis Morissette back next summer. She is a cultural phenomenon and judging by the reaction to her shows in the UK this summer there is little doubt her arrival in Lytham will be a massive night.

“It’s not often possible to make these things happen due to an artist’s touring schedule but the stars have aligned so we are very excited. To have Skunk Anansie on the bill too only makes for what will be an incredible night of live music and powerful vocals.

“Alanis completes our line-up of headliners for 2026. It’s a very special year for us celebrating the 15th Lytham Festival and to have such international icons on the bill will make for a very memorable five days.

“As ever we have programmed a festival that appeals to as wide an audience as possible and we still have a number of special guests to reveal.”

Alanis Morissette completes the line-up for the five-day event on Lytham Green which sees Teddy Swims performing on Wednesday, July 1; Alanis Morissette on Thursday, July 2; Michael Bublé on Friday, July 3; Pet Shop Boys on Saturday, July 4 and Pitbull with Lil Jon rounding the festival off on Sunday, July 5.
