MAFS groom ‘soft launches’ new boyfriend after heartbreaking split from show star and dating app scandal
A MAFS groom has soft launched his new boyfriend following his shock split from a show star.
The same-sex couple, who were fan-favourites on the E4 reality show, fell apart following final vows after one groom was found on the dating app Grindr whilst the pair were still together.
Davide Anica and Keye Luke were regarded as one of the experiment’s strongest couples and went from strength to strength during their time on the show.
But after MAFS UK filming ended, Davide dumped Keye for using the dating app Grindr whilst they were together in a shock scandal.
Last month Keye admitted that he wanted to get back with Davide.
However, the latter firmly insisted that there is no chance for a reconciliation – saying “the trust is gone”.
It seems Davide has now moved on for good after ‘soft launching’ his new man.
Taking to Instagram, the former flight attendant uploaded a sweet post which showed him enjoying a luxurious spa.
Davide filmed himself at Titanic Spa in Huddersfield relaxing at the retreat.
Clips show him enjoying the facilities including a pool, sauna and hotel room with a dining table notably set for two.
The post included the song Everything is Romantic by Charlie XCX as it’s background with songs’ lyrics “fall in love again and again” overlaid as text on the video.
The clip eventually showed him hugging a mystery man in a hot tub as they embraced each other in the quick shot.
Alongside the post, Davide penned: “Honestly… this year has been a lot. From the highs to the heavy bits, I’ve been running on autopilot and pretending my battery wasn’t on 1%.
“So taking a moment to just breathe, recalibrate, and remind myself I’m allowed to slow down? Elite behaviour.
“It’s wild how much you don’t realise you’re carrying until your body finally feels safe enough to let go. I needed this space. I needed the stillness. I needed to remember that slowing down isn’t weakness it’s maintenance. It’s survival. It’s me choosing myself for once.”
He continued: “Grateful for the space, the calm, and the people who hold me down when life gets loud. Feeling lighter, clearer, and kinda brand-new.
“And um… if you clocked the end of the video… no you didn’t ( Shushing face emoji).”
Fans flocked to the comments gushing over the video, one user said: “Yes, yes, yes!!! Couldn’t be happening to a better person!!! You deserve every happiness.”
Another added: “Soft launch, have a super Xmas lovely.”
“Really pleased for you (heart emoji),” chimed a third.
