The driver, aged in his 80s, was taken to hospital, where he sadly passed away a short time afterwards.
Police have confirmed that a man has sadly died following a one-vehicle crash in Co Antrim on Saturday.
The PSNI said received a report at around 2.35pm on Saturday afternoon, January 3 of a one-vehicle collision involving a red Ford Kuga Titanium car in the Carnbore Road area of Bushmills.
Officers, along with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, attended the scene.

The driver, a male in his 80s, was taken to hospital, where he sadly passed away a short time afterwards.
The Carnbore Road was closed for a time at the junction with Haw Road, but has since reopened.
A PSNI spokesperson added: “Our enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have digital footage which could assist with our investigation, to contact the Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting reference number 779 of 03/01/26.”
