Man drove on Errol Street, Middlesbrough, with no insurance
Abdlaziz Adam Maroul, 40, of Fallows Court, Middlesbrough, appeared at Teesside Magistrates’ Court on November 14.
The court heard that on April 7, 2024, Maroul drove a Kia vehicle on Errol Street, Middlesbrough, without a valid policy of third-party insurance in place.
Maroul was also found to have failed to comply with a no entry traffic sign and was driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence for that class of vehicle.
He changed his plea to guilty before sentencing.
For the insurance offence, Maroul was fined £162 and ordered to pay a £65 victim surcharge, as well as £650 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
The court took his guilty plea into account.
