A man has been rushed to hospital after being found injured at home in Oban.
Emergency services were called to the town’s High Street after the alarm was raised at around 9am on Friday, December 19.
Officers were responding to reports of a 20-year-old man having been found injured at an address in the town centre.
Ambulance crews attended and he was treated for his injuries in hospital. His condition currently remains unknown.
A 35-year-old man has since been arrested and charged following the incident.
He is due to appear at Oban Sheriff Court on Monday, December 22.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9am on Friday December 19, police were called to an address on High Street, Oban, where a 20-year-old man had been found injured.
“He was treated for his injuries in hospital.
“A 35-year-old man has been arrested and charged following the incident.
“He is due to appear at Oban Sheriff Court on Monday, December 22 2025.”
