A man is in hospital with serious injuries after a number of men entered a house in Co Antrim on New Year’s Day and attacked him.
Detectives are appealing for information after the aggravated burglary in Ballymoney on Thursday, January 1, which left the man with a number of serious injuries.
It took place in the Charlotte Street area, and police are asking for anyone who may have dashcam or doorbell footage to come forward.

Detective Inspector Ballentine said: “We received a report just after 11.40pm that a number of men had entered a residential property on Charlotte Street and attacked the occupant with unknown weapons. “He sustained serious injuries including a number of suspected fractures and open wounds. He remains in hospital for treatment but, thankfully, the injuries aren’t believed to be life-threatening at this time. “We are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area. We would also like to hear from anyone who may have relevant CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage.
