Man with links to Ripon wanted for prison recall after theft

Anthony Ward, 42, has links to areas in Ripon and Leeds.

He was previously issued with a prison sentence for theft at York Magistrates Court.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson explained: “He was released from prison in September but has now been recalled by HM Prison & Probation Service for failing to attend appointments with his supervising officer.

“He is also wanted by police on suspicion of further offences.”
