Introducing the new range, a McDonald’s spokesperson said: “For the first time ever, fans have a chance to travel the world, one bite at a time.
“So, whether you’ve longed for the smoky sweetness of Canada’s Maple BBQ bacon burger, dreamed of sipping Japan’s floral fizz, or just wondered what McDonald’s fans rave about across the globe – your moment has arrived!
“This is your all-access pass to the world’s most talked-about McDonald’s items.”

The ‘World Menu Heist’ range featured eight products:
- Maple BBQ & Bacon Double Quarter Pounder (Canada)
- Pineapple McSpicy (Australia)
- Garlic & Black Pepper McNuggets (Japan)
- Sour Cream & Black Pepper McShaker Fries (Poland)
- Mac & Cheese Triangles (United Arab Emirates)
- Choco Caramel Pie (Indonesia)
- Chocolate or Caramel Pretzel McFlurry (Malaysia)
- Sakura x Sprite (Japan)
These menu items were only available for a limited time and will be removed from McDonald’s stores in the UK and Ireland on Tuesday (November 25) to make way for the festive menu, which launches on Wednesday (November 26).
The removal of these items from the menu is sure to upset customers, with fans labelling the ‘World Menu Heist’ range as “to die for”, “delicious”, and a “must-have”.
One person, commenting on Reddit group r/McDonalds , said: “The fries are a must have. The whole pouring the seasoning into the bag and shaking it is a bit of a faff, but they’re lovely.”
Another added: “Just had pineapple mcspicy, Sakura sprite and Sour cream and black pepper fries. Delicious!”
While another customer, posting on X (formerly Twitter), wrote: “McDonald’s new World Heist menu is to die for.”

The ‘World Menu Heist’ range will not be the only thing disappearing from McDonald’s menus this week.
The Fish Finger Happy Meal is also being discontinued, with Tuesday being its final day on the menu.
While fish fingers will no longer be available in Happy Meals, they will be replaced by McDonald’s Mayo Chicken and McFish.
A McDonald’s spokesperson said: “We’re always looking at ways to innovate our menu offering for our customers.
“We’re excited to welcome two new additions to Happy Meal, including the Mayo Chicken and the McFish.
“We know the Mayo Chicken is hugely popular across all age ranges, and that the McFish addition to Happy Meal has been successful in other markets, so we’re confident these changes will make our Happy Meal options better than ever.
“Both meals will be available from Wednesday, 26th November.”
