Missing man, 40, found dead in brewery as cops launch urgent murder probe

A MURDER investigation has been launched after the body of a missing man was found at a former brewery site.
The body of Andrew Bray, also known as Andrew Boltwood, was discovered after he was reported a missing earlier this week.

Police said the 40-year-old man from Huddersfield was reportedly assaulted before he disappeared.
West Yorkshire Police received information that led them to the old brewery in Huddersfield where they identified the body.
Detective Chief Inspector Michael Cox said: “While a formal post-mortem is to take place, we do believe Andrew was assaulted prior to his body being found and, following inquires at the scene, are treating the incident as a murder investigation.
“I am appealing for witnesses and information and would particularly like to hear from anyone who saw suspicious behaviour in or around the former brewery site last weekend.”
He added that local officers would be patrolling the area: “Any very serious incident, such as a murder, obviously causes shock in local communities and I can assure residents a full investigation is underway into what occurred.”
