A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a crash in Rhondda Cynon Taf
- Emergency services were called to the scene of a collision on Lanelay Road in Talbot Green, Llantrisant at around 7.45am on Monday morning, January 12. The road was closed in both directions, with South Wales Police asking drivers to avoid the area.
- A police spokesman said the crash involved a motorbike and a van. The motorcyclist was admitted to hospital with serious injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.
- There were long delays reported in the area according to traffic monitoring site Inrix, with many drivers being diverted during rush hour. Lanelay Road reopened shortly before 10.30am.
