A motorcyclist collided with a car on Causeyside Street at the junction with George Street in Paisley.
A motorcyclist has been rushed to hospital following a crash with a car on a busy Paisley street. Emergency crews rushed to the junction at Causeyside Street and George Street in the town at around 12.10pm yesterday after receiving reports of a crash involving a motorbike and a car.
Upon arrival, the male biker was blue-lighted to hospital for treatment. The female driver and two passengers of the car were uninjured.
Images sent to Glasgow Live, show the road taped off as officers stand guard at the cordon in place. Police Scotland have since appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
Sergeant Fraser McEwan of the Road Policing Department said: “I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the crash take place, who has not yet spoken to police, to contact us. We are also keen to obtain any dash-cam from motorists driving on the road around the time of the crash.
“We would like to thank the members of the public who assisted at the scene of the crash.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson added: “Road policing officers are appealing for information following a crash involving a motorbike and a car in Paisley. The crash happened around 12.10pm on Saturday, 29 November, 2025 at Causeyside Street with the junction of George Street.
“The male rider of the motorbike was taken to hospital for treatment. The female driver and two passengers of the car were not hurt. Anyone with information should contact officers through 101 quoting reference 1242 of 29 November, 2025.”
