Murder suspect ‘out of UK’ after death of young man in Bury
Brandon Porter Kershaw died on May 19 last year after he appeared to have been hit by a car in Porritt Street, opposite St Paul’s Primary School in east Bury.
A murder probe was launched, and on May 27, police released images and details about the then 23-year-old Tino Williams, who they wanted to speak to in connection with the case.
A custody image and a CCTV still of Williams were released by Greater Manchester Police as part of the investigation into Brandon’s death.
But as of the start of this year, Williams has not been reported found, and it is understood that he is out of the country.

It is understood that Williams remains wanted in connection with murder and that GMP’s Force Critical Wanted Unit is continuing to lead the search for him.
A brief inquest opening held towards the end of May last year heard how father-of-one Brandon Porter Kershaw had been on Porritt Street with two friends the day he died.
The coroner heard how a red Audi came from Norman Street, an alley just off Huntley Mount Road, on to Porritt Street and the driver then “drove towards” the group.

The unnamed friends managed to get out of the way, but Brandon was caught in the collision, which caused “catastrophic” head injuries.
He died from his injuries despite the best efforts of medical professionals and first responders at the scene.
A tribute from his family to the young father released after his death said: “We are all truly shocked and heartbroken by the sudden loss of Brandon.
“He was a gentle, kind-hearted young man whose warmth and social nature touched everyone around him.
“Brandon was taken far too soon, and his passing has left a deep void in all our lives.
“Brandon was a devoted dad to his young daughter, who he loved deeply.
“His family meant everything to him, and the bond he shared with his mum was incredibly special, they were best friends.”
