Nestle discontinues Curiously Cinnamon Churros Cereal

The food and drink company is responsible for various breakfast products, including Cheerios, Shreddies, and Nesquik cereal.

Golden Grahams is also once again part of the Nestle cereal range, having been relaunched in the UK last September, after being discontinued twice, most recently in 2021.

Nestle discontinues “very popular” cereal after 5 years

Nestle has now confirmed that another of its breakfast products has been discontinued, its Curiously Cinnamon Churros Cereal.

One fan, posting on X (formerly Twitter), said: “So which stores (here in the UK) are meant to be stocking curiously cinnamon churros.

“It is now many months since I been able to purchase this product, perhaps you’ve discontinued it, but it is still being shown on your web~site?!”

A Nestle spokesperson replied, saying: “Sorry to share the bad news—Curiously Cinnamon Churros has been discontinued.

“There might still be some stock around while stores clear what they have, but we can’t confirm which ones still carry it.”

The churros cereal, first released in the UK back in May 2021, was part of Nestle’s Curiously Cinnamon range, along with:

• Curiously Cinnamon Original Cereal
• Curiously Cinnamon Breakfast Cereal Bars

It proved popular among shoppers, boasting a 4.4-star rating (out of 5) on the Nestle website.

One person commented: “OMG…love these! I’m a fan of cinnamon in a big way and these hit the spot for sure.

“I often grab a handful and eat them dry as a low cal healthy snack instead of sweets.

“A bowl in the evening is a regular thing. Very popular in our house!”

Another added: “My teenager loves these. They have a hint of cinnamon & aren’t too sweet and have a lovely crunch & don’t go soggy in the milk. Make a nice breakfast treat.”

A third fan posted: “The best taste. Perfect texture and flavours the milk wonderfully.”

This cereal lover wrote: “I’m a huge can of Cinnamon Churros so when I saw that Nestle had released this you can imagine my excitement!

“It went above and beyond expectation to. I eat dry or with milk.”
