A new shop in Motherwell is on trend as it mixes fashion and football to net customers.
The Dressin’ Room has opened its doors on the town’s Windmillhill Street just in time for Christmas.
The store is the brainchild of local man Matthew Johnstone and is an “extension” of his hard work over the past decade.
Matthew explained: “The shop is called The Dressin’ Room and is an extension of my independent clothing brand Daft Laddie, which has been operating since 2014.
“The business has been operating online since its inception and this is hopefully the next big step forward.
“I am looking to bring a quality menswear shopping environment to our local town, with a nod to the football culture of dressing well in order to attend matches.
“In addition, I want the space to be welcoming to all, even if just to pop in and ask about the products rather than feel pressured into purchasing.
“Motherwell FC has long been a passion of mine and this is reflected in many of the designs I produce.
“But I offer much more to neutrals along the themes of football, fashion and music.
“I invite people from all over the country, and beyond. to enjoy the top quality fashions at The Dressin’ Room.”
