John Miller has been missing for a month after the 48-year-old was last spotted in Cumbernauld on November 10.
A new image has been released in the search for a missing Rangers fan who vanished four weeks ago. John Miller, 48, was last spotted at Millcroft Road in Cumbernauld at around 5pm on Monday, November 10.
Police Scotland have now issued a new photograph as part of their search. In the image, a man is wearing a blue tracksuit and grey trainers – the same outfit John was last seen in.
Since he was reported missing on Monday, November 10, police have pored over hundreds of hours of CCTV and visited more than 1,800 houses as part of door-to-door enquiries. Last week, police urged the public to check outbuildings and sheds in case John had sought shelter.
Police previously released a CCTV image of a man wearing the clothing that John is understood to have been wearing at the time of his disappearance. He is described as white, of medium build, 5ft 6in tall, with brown hair, brown eyes and has tattoos, including the name ‘Karen’ on his arm.
He also may have travelled to the east end of Glasgow, Falkirk and or the Lochearnhead area, where he is known to fish. Inspector Billy Sloan said: “Our priority remains tracing John and getting answers for his family on his whereabouts.
“Four weeks on from when he was reported missing, extensive enquiries remain ongoing to trace him. Information from the public is vital as we work to track his movements.
“I continue to urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward. No matter how significant you believe that information is, it could prove vital.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson added: “Officers continue to appeal for information to help trace 48-year-old John Miller who was last seen four weeks ago in Cumbernauld.
