In the Harden’s Best UK Restaurants 2026 guide, North Yorkshire is in second place for both counties with the most listings overall and number of entries in the top 100 with 58 listings featured

Five of these making the Top 100, solidifying its reputation as one of the country’s top food destinations.

The guide’s 2026 edition lists 109 restaurants across Yorkshire & the Humber—up from just 60 last year—making the region one of the strongest performers outside London, with North Yorkshire leading the way.
