Plans to convert ex-clinic into home in Bishop Auckland
Approval for the change of 42 Cockton Hill Road, Bishop Auckland, was granted by Durham County Council on December 17.
The project, submitted by applicant Mr Yadwinder Singh, will convert the building into a home with two bedrooms.
Once a townhouse, it has been empty since January 2024, having been used as a sandwich shop, education centre, and aesthetics clinic.
Transport arrangements will include a bike storage facility as well as easy access to public transport.
During the consultation process, 28 neighbouring properties were notified, and no objections were lodged.
