Plant in window tips police to Bishop Auckland cannabis grow
The grow on Seymour Street was discovered by police on Tuesday, December 30.
Durham Police said: “Christmas may be over, however somebody forgot to take down their tree.”

But upstairs officers found a “substantial grow” with several plants and an intricate heating system.
No arrests have been made, and an investigation is ongoing.

The estimated street value of the drugs is not known.
A force spokesperson added : “Police were called on Tuesday, December 30 to reports of a suspected cannabis grow inside of an address on Seymour Street, Bishop Auckland.
“Officers attended, removed the grow, and made the property safe. An investigation is now ongoing.”
